At the show, we’ll be showcasing a selection of batteries and sensors printed on flexible substrates. These batteries are designed to support innovative medical devices that can conform to the body while measuring physiological signals and transmitting the results wirelessly. At less than 0.7 mm thick, Zinergy technology enables new devices with inherent safety and flexibility.
Safe, flexible power for medical innovation
Zinergy uses zinc-carbon battery chemistry, containing no lithium, mercury or solvents. This means our batteries can be cut or pierced without the risk of combustion, helping address concerns around overheating and burns.
Zinergy batteries are tested to the same safety standards as portable consumer batteries, such as AA, AAA and coin cells. In addition, we bend test our batteries thousands of times to ensure they won’t leak or lose performance during operation.
