Zinergy batteries have 1.5 V, 3.0 V, 4.5 V and 6.0 V nominal voltages. They come in a range of energy capacities and peak currents to power a variety of applications.

1.5 Volt Series

Zinergy produces 1.5 volt printed batteries in sizes ranging from 20 x 20 mm to 65 x 40 mm. These batteries are typically used to provide power for active HF and UHF RFID labels and tags, allowing increased separation between the tag and the reader, and enhancing sensing functionality. Some Bluetooth™ chips are also operable at 1.5 volts.

3.0 Volt Series

Zinergy’s 3 volt batteries are commonly used to power Bluetooth™, Zigbee, SigFox, LoRa, Mioty, Zeta and other low power wireless labels and tags. Our 3 volt batteries provide the peak power required by most wireless protocols for location tracking as well as powering sensors to record data such as temperature and humidity.

4.5 volt Series

Zinergy’s 4.5 volt series are used when higher voltages or peak pulse currents are required.

6.0 Volt Series

Our 6 volt batteries are typically used for higher power wireless communication protocols such as NB-IoT and LTE-M. These batteries deliver high peak pulse currents in excess of 500 mA. Labels incorporating NB-IoT and LTE-M provide long range tracking as well as sensor measurement data.

A range of capacities

We have proven battery capacities that provide temperature logging for over 18 months. Our 3 and 6 volt batteries can provide a lifetime of tens of thousands of location and sensor data readings.

RFID, Bluetooth™, LoRa, SigFox, Mioty, Zeta, NB-IoT and LTE-M

We have standard batteries for RFID (RAIN), Bluetooth™ (BTLE, BLE), ZigBee, SigFox, LoRa, Mioty, Zeta, NB-IoT and LTE-M communication technologies that enable printed labels or tags to communicate with local or global network access points. Zinergy batteries can deliver the peak currents demanded by all wireless protocols.

Custom Batteries

If our standard designs don’t meet your requirements, we design and manufacture custom batteries to meet application-driven specifications.

Zinergy’s batteries are designed, developed, tested and manufactured entirely in-house. We have R&D centres in the UK and China allowing us to develop novel battery chemistries to meet demanding application requirements. We control the complete manufacturing process, transferring initial designs to production under ISO 9001 controls.

Direct-print Batteries
For seamlessly integrated products that require the greatest flexibility, Zinergy can print batteries onto inlays, flexi-circuits and even printed circuit boards. Printing the battery directly onto customer-supplied circuits removes the necessity to crimp, bond or glue to battery to the product, and can save costs in manufacturing.
