About Us
Born from researchers at the University of Cambridge, England, our passion is creating environmentally friendly, safe batteries to power the Internet of Things.
- Our batteries contain no toxic heavy metals and our electrolyte is water-based.
- Our batteries can be pierced, cut and punctured without risk of fire.
- We design our batteries to have only the capacity needed for the application, minimising waste and materials used.
- In comparison with coin cell batteries, the materials we use are much simpler and lower cost to recycle. Our R&D continues to reduce the environmental footprint of our printed batteries and we are investigating ways to remove 80% of the plastics currently used.
