Zinergy attends RFID Journal Live event in Las Vegas, April 2024

Zinergy was proud to join the AIM pavilion at 2024 RFID Journal Live and showcase a wide
variety of air-safe printed, flexible batteries.

On display were a range of flexible batteries of different shapes, sizes, voltages and capacities, ranging upwards from 1.5 volts and a few milli-Amp hours (mAh) to hundreds of mAh.

Attending were Pritesh Hiralal, Zinergy UK’s CEO, and Andrew Matthews, Business Development Manager. “The show was a great success, enabling us to meet many existing customers and show our expansive product range and customisation capabilities to new contacts and leaders in the RFID world,” said Pritesh. “We were particularly impressed by the interest in active labels that use batteries to increase read distance and reduce read errors, a critical aspect for the logistics industry.”

Andrew said, “While it has taken many years for RFID to become mainstream, the impact of Covid-19 on global logistics has accelerated adoption. Data shared at an event meeting co- hosted by the RAIN Alliance and AIM indicated that nearly 45 billion RFID chips were shipped in 2023, an uptake of over 32% on 2022, while overall market penetration is low. It’s clear that industry adoption is increasing rapidly.”

Zinergy thanks AIM and the RAIN Alliance for hosting us during the event, with special thanks to Mary Lou Bosco, AIM CEO, for all her help. We hope to return soon!

AIM is the global industry alliance for stakeholders of RFID, barcoding, smart devices, and other automatic identification and data capture (AIDC) technologies and supporting Blockchain, IoT, and RTLS applications.

The RAIN Alliance is a consortium of companies that together want to create a smarter and more sustainable world by using RAIN RFID technology to connect trillions of everyday items across their entire lifecycle, simply and inexpensively.
